The Feature Film machine begins it’s slow whir into action
2009 was a year spent deep in development. I contacted novelists, comic book writers, screenwriters and artists, looking to find material or develop stories from scratch with a multitude of collaborators. I had many amazing writers agree to work with me, to adapt scripts for me, or to give me access to their work.
2010 is churning towards payoff.
This year I began outlining my first commissioned script, paid for by a company that intends to have me direct the film as soon as this very summer.. I have received drafts of screenplays from several of the authors I found last year. Artwork for a graphic novel has rolled in. All of these projects will soon be announced in one form or another. I have just finished a massive website redesign, and it will be here that I will soon be posting a veritable clusterfuck of exciting news.
Until then, I remained cloistered inside the nightmare machinery, making sure the flickering lights stay flickering.
